    Senior Software Engineer

    JulyTech Sdn Bhd, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

    • Built a server-rendered Nuxt booking website that gives each client shop (mostly salons and barbershops) its own searchable booking page, so customers can book online and find the shop on Google.
    • Solved a server-side data problem by loading each shop’s details and SEO data with useAsyncData from the URL slug, because the usual client-side Axios call could not supply them before render.
    • Implemented the four-step booking flow (service, date and time, staff, confirmation) in Tailwind, redesigning layouts adapted from a reference booking system.

    • Launched the site on Ubuntu with Nginx and PM2, and raised its SSL Labs rating to A+ by combining the certificate and CA bundle into one chain file.

    Detik Ideal Sdn Bhd, Kota Damansara, Selangor

    • Raised the Gentari CMS Lighthouse performance score from roughly 60 to 90 by adding a WebP converter, after finding that oversized user-uploaded images caused the slowdown.
    • Automated default SEO metadata (title, description, image) in the Gentari CMS for pages whose editors leave those fields blank, and set up Google Search Console.
    • Unblocked the Gentari CMS delivery by building a two-day Express.js page builder that turned CMS data and templates into static HTML for the main backend to render, after the Spring Boot/Groovy HTML writer failed to pass data correctly.

    • Coached fresh graduates with open-ended tasks that had a clear required outcome, and served as the escalation point when the team was blocked.

    • Started the frontend of a telecom CRM in Vue and Quasar from scratch, building the Dashboard, MSISDN, Stocks and Asset, Subscriber, Account, User and Setting modules, and turning its accounting flow into working screens.
    • Translated Figma designs from the team’s designer into Vue and Quasar screens, after designing screens myself in the early years.
    • Developed the web app (Vue/Quasar) and the entire Android app (Jetpack Compose) for a hospital BLE tracking proof of concept, including asset booking and newborn-mother pairing; demonstrated to a hospital.
